I'm a professor in the Biology Department at Ursinus College. An important part of my work is to take UC students to the tropics, to study the organisms and meet the people who live there. My latest project (with my wife, Ellen, also a bio prof at UC) is to bring a group of 16 students to tropical Mexico for the spring semester of 2008, to study Spanish, the Maya, and tropical biology. Watch this blog over the next four months to follow our adventures.
